Product Description

Metallurgical coke is produced by carbonzation of caol or blends at temperatures up to 1400K to produce a macroporus carbon material of high strength and relatively large size. It is mainly used in metallurgical and chemical industries. Metallurgical coke is primarily used to smelt iron and other bearing materials in blast furnace acting both as a source of heat and as a chemical reducing agent to produce iron or hot metal.
